Registered Capital
注册资本
Also known as: subscribed capital
The amount of capital a Chinese company has pledged to contribute, as recorded on its business license. Under China's subscription system this figure is a commitment, not proof of cash on hand, so a large registered capital alone says little about a supplier's real financial strength.
