AI Assistant & MCP Data Processing

ChinaCheck (operated by Galaxy Digital Technology Limited, Hong Kong SAR) makes its company-lookup capability available to AI assistants — including ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini — through a remote MCP (Model Context Protocol) server at https://www.china-check.com/api/mcp/mcp. This page explains what data is processed when you use ChinaCheck through an AI assistant. It supplements, and is subject to, our full Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

1. What the App Does

The app exposes three tools to the assistant:

• search_chinese_company — find a mainland-China company by name, brand, website, phone, or Unified Social Credit Code.
• get_company_snapshot — return a free official registration snapshot plus a quote for paid reports.
• start_report_purchase — create an order and return a Stripe Checkout URL for a paid report.

2. Data We Receive From the Assistant

• Search and lookup input: the company name / identifier you ask the assistant to look up, and an optional language code. This is sent to ChinaCheck to perform the lookup.
• Purchase details (only if you buy a report): your email address (to deliver the report), the company name, the chosen report tier, and your explicit compliance consent. Payment card data is entered on Stripe’s checkout page and is never received or stored by ChinaCheck.
• Technical metadata: request IP address and user-agent, used only for per-IP rate limiting, abuse/fraud prevention, and aggregate access analytics.

We do not receive your AI account identity, your full conversation, or any content other than the specific tool inputs the assistant sends.

3. Sub-Processors

• Chinese corporate-registry data — the official GSXT national enterprise credit information system (SAMR), accessed via our domestic proxy, to retrieve registration and risk data.
• Stripe, Inc. — payment processing for paid reports.
• Resend — transactional email (report delivery, order confirmation).
• Supabase — database hosting for orders and accounts.
• The AI provider you chose (OpenAI / Anthropic / Google) acts only as the conduit that relays your tool inputs to us and our results back to you, under their own terms.

4. How We Use the Data

• To perform the requested company lookup and return results.
• To create and fulfil a paid-report order and email the report (purchases only).
• To rate-limit, secure, and prevent abuse of the service.

We do not sell your data, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train AI models.

5. Legal Basis & Retention

Lookup inputs and technical metadata are processed on the basis of legitimate interest (operating and securing the service); purchase data is processed to perform our contract with you. Search and access logs are retained for a limited period for security and analytics; order and billing records are retained as required for accounting and legal compliance.
